Sunshine Bay Lodge
Sunshine Bay Lodge, with new owners, is now available to your group, so you can experience a private, exclusive fishing adventure exploring the waters of Barkley Sound, Pacific Rim National Park, Bamfield, Ucluelet and beyond. Sunshine Bay Lodge is located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, on Seddal Island and accessible by boat or ferry from Port Alberni, or a 40 minute sea plane flight out of Vancouver. Once you’re here, world-renowned fishing is located literally right off your doorstep!
Your guide will take you out on a new, 26ft welded aluminum sport fishing boat, designed for the west coast of Canada. Well organized and outfitted with heated pilot house, head, air ride seats, twin 200 horse outboards will ensure the ride will be safe and warm. You will enjoy the calm protected waters of Barkley Sound, or running off shore fishing for spring salmon, coho salmon, halibut and bottom fish, trapping dungenees crab & spot prawns – all just a short distance away.
At the end of the day, relax at the Lodge and dine on your catch while the extra fish can be vacuum packed for you to take home. You may also choose to go exploring, take a kayak excursion on your own, or just relax and sunbathe on the deck.
Sunshine Bay Lodge is remote and off the grid, but very comfortable with solar power, 3 bathrooms, four bedrooms, two sleeping lofts, large decks and private dock. Running from January to October, book the Lodge today, for your private West Coast adventure.
